Iris is a vocal trio based in New York City that was formed in 2018. The group re-imagines classic songs beloved by all audiences. With just three voices, the group demonstrates the versatility of the human voice through unique and intricate vocal arrangements. Iris has had the opportunity to perform in a number of notable venues including Berklee Performance Center, Green Room 42 and Carnegie Hall. The group also competed in the International Championship of A Cappella Open and won first place in both semi-finals and finals. They also received Best Arrangement and Best Vocal Percussion in both rounds as well as Best Soloist in finals. Recently, Iris was featured on LA-based composer’s a cappella Pop opera album, Emily & Sue.

 

Dara Orland is a singer, dancer, actress, and choreographer based in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied Musical Theatre at the New Studio on Broadway. She sang with NYU's Jewish a cappella group, Ani V'Ata, all four years of college, and her love of a cappella only grew from there. Dara has performed at many of NYC's most prestigious venues, including The Beacon Theatre, Radio City Music Hall, The Theatre at Madison Square Garden, 54 Below, and Yankee Stadium. She has worked all over the country as an actress, and her choreography has been featured Regionally, Off-Broadway, the NYC Fringe Festival, and The National Theatre of Abu Dhabi.

David Rowen is a Helen Hayes Award-nominated actor and musician based in New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Music from James Madison University (JMU), where he studied classical voice, piano, and music industry. He sang with JMU's premiere co-ed a cappella group, The Overtones, and served as the music director for several semesters. Some of his arrangements can be heard on the Best of College A Cappella and Voices Only compilation albums. David produces the music YouTube channel, davidrowen/creative, which he uses to showcase music videos featuring his collaborative arrangements and covers of pop songs and Broadway tunes. Supported by a growing subscriber base and over one million views, his work has been praised by Playbill, Broadway.com, and the award-winning composer/lyricist, Stephen Schwartz. David appeared Off-Broadway in Bob Marley's Three Little Birds, and he has worked regionally at Shakespeare Theatre Company, Studio Theatre, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Olney Theatre Center, and Signature Theatre, where he performed in the world premiere of the Sheryl Crow and Barry Levinson musical, Diner, helmed by Tony Award-winner, Kathleen Marshall. In addition to performing, David regularly doubles as a music director, accompanist, and music/video producer.

Andrew John Kim is an A Cappella Producer, Recording Engineer and Arranger from New York City. He received his Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from Northwestern University, his Master of Music in Film Scoring from NYU, and recently, MBA from NYU Stern. At Northwestern, Andrew was a founding member and music director of his collegiate a cappella group, Extreme Measures. He also founded, music directed, and arranged for the professional a cappella group, Backtrack. With Backtrack, Andrew had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall, the Beacon Theatre, the UN, during the Broadway show, Kinky Boots, and on the Steve Harvey Show.
